With the divorce final in June and that whole mess behind me I finally got the car out of the ex-wife's garage and took it back to Sammy Maloof's garage to get the few things needing fixing over with (check out page 13 and 14 to find out the last time I had the car at Sammy's). First, the car hasn't been started since last September so the fluids needed to be changed, including the fuel in the gas tank. The brake leak in the calipers was fixed and we found out the fluid was contaminated. The calipers needed to be rebuilt along with the rear drums. The linkage for the tranny was tightened up, and the speedometer was hooked up. After that I need to get the glovebox and the glovebox cover installed, the headrests installed as well as the seatbelts, console carpet installed and find a bumperjack as well as a spare tire. Once all that's done the car should be complete.

It's been a long journey, that's for sure. Six years this month since I first got the car and the light at the end of the tunnel is visable for the first time.
